Tinley Creek Pilots Association
IMAA Chapter # 771      BIG IS BETTER!
Home Page

Well, it’s April, the weather shows signs of warming, and my planes are almost ready to fly. Many of the members have been busy with some aggressive winter projects; the photos are from John Richardson. The planes are pretty impressive; the Fleet Bipe looks like it will be a very gentile flyer. If you have photos of your projects that you would like to see here, send them to me and they will be shown here.

I wanted to caution our members to beware of “hobby dealers”, or new to the scene hobby/ pet shops who undercut the prices of established hobby shops. Yes you might get a real good deal, but it makes it more difficult for true hobby shops to stay in business, and eventually, the “fly by nighters” will have a monopoly on the business and control of the prices, which will go up. Low prices today will mean higher prices in the future. Protect our future, shop at the established, trusted hobby shops.

We are trying to set up a planning meeting on April 11,2008. If anyone is interested in taking over the website, please contact me, and we will set you up. I will contact you with the time, and location of the meeting. You can also contact me at 708-444-2869, or by e-mail at danieldisabato@comcast.net.
